WASHINGTON, March 17 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG Engines.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on March 17 by Peter A. White, Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2019-05-02, which applied to certain Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG (RRD) (type certificate previously held by Rolls-Royce plc) Model RB211-Trent 970-84 and RB211-Trent 972-84 engines.
