FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES; DE HAVILLAND AIRCRAFT OF CANADA LIMITED (TYPE CERTIFICATE PREVIOUSLY HELD BY BOMBARDIER, INC.) AIRPLANES

WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (Type Certificate Previously Held by Bombardier, Inc.) Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 26 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2019-16-09, which applied to certain De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited Model DHC-8-400 series airplanes.
