WASHINGTON, May 22 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Regional Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 22 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2023-10-08, which applied to all ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Regional Model ATR42-200, -300, and -320 airplanes. AD 2023-10-08 required revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations.
