WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 21 by Peter A. White, Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2022-27-01, which applied to certain Airbus SAS Model A350-941 and -1041 airplanes. AD 2022-27-01 required replacing affected fasteners and applying additional head nut cap protection at the front and rear spars in the center wing box (CWB).
