WASHINGTON, June 6 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 6 by Lona C. Saccomando, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A350-941 airplanes. This AD was prompted by an inspection that found several anodic burns on the main landing gear (MLG) bogie beam axles following a high velocity oxygen-fuel (HVOF) stripping process.
