WASHINGTON, July 11 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Amendment of Class E4 Airspace Over Elmira, NY.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on July 11 by Patrick Young, Manager, Airspace & Procedures Team North, Eastern Service Center, Air Traffic Organization.

Summary: This action proposes to amend Class E4 airspace at Elmira/Corning Regional Airport, Elmira, NY, due to the currently designated airspace not properly containing instrument flight rule (IFR) operations, which require controlled airspace.
