WASHINGTON, March 25 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Amendment of Class D Airspace; Jupiter, FL.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 25 by Andreese C. Davis, Manager, Airspace & Procedures Team South, Eastern Service Center, Air Traffic Organization.
Summary: This action proposes to amend Class D airspace extending upward from the surface to and including 2, 500 feet MSL within a 4.5-mile radius of William P. Gwinn Airport, beginning at the 205deg bearing from the airport clockwise to the 145deg bearing, thence to the beginning point. Controlled airspace is necessary for the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations in the area.
