WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Safran Helicopter Engines, S.A. (Type Certificate Previously Held by Turbomeca, S.A.) Engines.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 26 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Safran Helicopter Engines, S.A. (Safran) Model Arriel 2E engines.
