WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Piaggio Aviation S.p.A. Airplanes.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 5 by Paul R. Bernado, Acting Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Piaggio Aviation S.p.A. (Piaggio) Model P-180 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report of leakage from the flexible hydraulic hoses connected to the hydraulic pump package (HPP).
