WASHINGTON, May 19 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 19 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation Model GVI airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a determination that new and more restrictive airworthiness limitations are necessary. This AD requires revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new and more restrictive airworthiness limitations....
