WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Regional Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 18 by Victor Wicklund, Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Regional Model ATR42-500 and ATR72-212A airplanes.
