WASHINGTON, Feb. 20 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 20 by Peter A. White, Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A330-841 and A330-941 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report of cracks on the discharge outlet of certain engine fire extinguisher bottles.
