WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 17 by Lona C. Saccomando, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA proposes to supersede Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2021-03-08, which applies to certain Airbus SAS Model A350-941 and -1041 airplanes. AD 2021-03-08 requires repetitive inspections for migration of the bushings of the horizontal tail plane (HTP) lateral load fittings (LLF) on the left- and right-hand sides and terminating repair or modification of any affected bushing.
