WASHINGTON, June 17 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 17 by Peter A. White, Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA proposes to supersede Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2024-22-02, which applies to certain Airbus SAS Model A330-200, -200 Freighter, -300, -800, and -900 series airplanes. AD 2024-22-02 requires revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations.
