ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY ISSUES RULE: EXTENSION OF EFFECTIVE DATE FOR REMOVAL OF GASOLINE VOLATILITY WAIVER FOR OHIO AND NINE COUNTIES IN SOUTH DAKOTA

WASHINGTON, March 20 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Extension of Effective Date for Removal of Gasoline Volatility Waiver for Ohio and Nine Counties in South Dakota.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on March 20 by Lee Zeldin, Administrator.

Summary: This final rule extends the effective date for removal of the 1-psi gasoline volatility waiver in Ohio and nine counties in South Dakota by one year from April 28, 2025, to April 28, 2026. This action responds to petitions from the Governors of Ohio and South Dakota requesting an extension of the effective date to the summer of 2026.
