ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: UTAH; NORTHERN WASATCH FRONT; 2015 8-HOUR OZONE NONATTAINMENT AREA BOUNDARY EXPANSION AND APPLICABILITY OF CERTAIN CLEAN AIR ACT REQUIREMENTS

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Utah; Northern Wasatch Front; 2015 8-Hour Ozone Nonattainment Area Boundary Expansion and Applicability of Certain Clean Air Act Requirements.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 25 by Cyrus M. Western, Regional Administrator, Region 8.

Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a request to expand the boundary for the Northern Wasatch Front (NWF) 2015 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) nonattainment area (NAA).
