WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Modification of Significant New Use Rules of Certain Chemical Substances (23-1.M).
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 28 by Mary Elissa Reaves, Director, Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics.
Summary: EPA is proposing to amend the significant new use rules (SNURs) for certain chemical substances identified herein, which were the subject of one or more premanufacture notices (PMNs), a Microbial Commercial Activity Notice (MCAN) for one substance, and in some cases significant new use notices (SNUNs).
