WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Hazardous and Solid Waste Management System: Disposal of Coal Combustion Residuals From Electric Utilities; Extension of an Alternative Closure Requirement Deadline; Extension of Comment Period.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 7 by John W. Busterud, Assistant Administrator, Office of Land Emergency Management.
