WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Determination of Attainment by the Attainment Date; 1997 Ozone Standards; California; Coachella Valley.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 15 by Michael Martucci, Acting Regional Administrator, Region IX.
Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to determine that the Riverside County (Coachella Valley) 1997 ozone Extreme nonattainment area ("Coachella Valley") attained the 1997 ozone national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) by its June 15, 2025, attainment date.
