WASHINGTON, June 18 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Air Plan Approval; Utah; Interstate Transport of Air Pollution for the 2008 8-Hour Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 18 by Cyrus M. Western, Regional Administrator, Region 8.

Summary: Pursuant to the Federal Clean Air Act (CAA or the Act), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a portion of a Utah State Implementation Plan (SIP) submission addressing interstate transport for the 2008 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS).
