WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Air Plan Approval; Rhode Island; Decommissioning of Stage II Vapor Recovery Systems.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 14 by Mark Sanborn, Regional Administrator, EPA Region 1.

Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Rhode Island. This revision removes requirements for Stage II vapor recovery equipment at gasoline dispensing facilities (GDFs).
