ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: AIR PLAN APPROVAL; OKLAHOMA; UPDATES TO THE STATE IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR NEW SOURCE REVIEW PERMITTING AND GENERAL SIP PROVISIONS

WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Air Plan Approval; Oklahoma; Updates to the State Implementation Plan for New Source Review Permitting and General SIP Provisions.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Nov. 17 by Walter Mason, Regional Administrator, Region 6.

Summary: Pursuant to the Federal Clean Air Act (CAA or the Act), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve identified portions of revisions to the Oklahoma State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by the State of Oklahoma designee between 2002 and 2025 to update the Oklahoma New Source Review (NSR) permit program and make general updates to the Oklahoma SIP.
