WASHINGTON, June 18 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Air Plan Approval; Indiana; Regional Haze Plan for the Second Implementation Period.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 18 by Anne Vogel, Regional Administrator, Region 5.
Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve the Indiana regional haze state implementation plan (SIP) revision submitted by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM or Indiana) on December 29, 2021, as satisfying applicable requirements under the Clean Air Act (CAA) and EPA's Regional Haze Rule (RHR) for the program's second implementation period.
