WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Air Plan Approval; Arizona; Maricopa County Air Quality Department; Volatile Organic Compounds; Architectural Coatings.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 11 by Michael Martucci, Acting Regional Administrator, Region IX.

Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve revisions to the Maricopa County Air Quality Department (MCAQD or "County") portion of the Arizona State Implementation Plan (SIP).
