WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Air Plan Approval; Arizona; Maricopa County Air Quality Department; Petroleum Solvent Dry Cleaning.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 21 by Joshua F.W. Cook, Regional Administrator, Region IX.

Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a revision to the Maricopa County Air Quality Department (MCAQD) portion of the Arizona State Implementation Plan (SIP). This revision clarifies definitions used in a rule that limits volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emissions from petroleum solvents used in dry cleaning.
