Congressman Chuck Edwards (NC-11) announced the release of nearly $260 million in FEMA Public Assistance funds to support ongoing hurricane recovery efforts in North Carolina. Funding secured for Western North Carolina includes:
* $2,718,498 to Madison County for emergency support and disaster recovery assistance.
* $1,443,996 to the Town of Old Fort for local recovery and infrastructure needs.
* $1,230,371 to the French Broad Electric Membership Corporation for infrastructure restoration and power system recovery.
$1,223,188 to the City of Brevard for Hillview Road repairs and local recovery efforts.
