DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: SCHEDULES OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES: PLACEMENT OF THREE SPECIFIC FENTANYL-RELATED SUBSTANCES IN SCHEDULE I

WASHINGTON, June 10 -- Drug Enforcement Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Schedules of Controlled Substances: Placement of Three Specific Fentanyl-Related Substances in Schedule I.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 10 by Heather Achbach, Federal Register Liaison Officer, Drug Enforcement Administration.

Summary: The Drug Enforcement Administration proposes placing three fentanyl-related substances, as identified in this proposed rule, in schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act.
