WASHINGTON, July 22 -- Department Of Veterans Affairs has issued a proposed rule called: Expansion of VA Process for 72-Hour Notification of Emergency Treatment.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on July 22 by Taylor N. Mattson, Alternate Federal Register Liaison Officer, Department of Veterans Affairs.

Summary: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to revise its medical regulations to add a new method of notification for emergency treatment that is furnished by community providers to be authorized under the Veterans Community Care Program.
