DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: RESCISSION OF AFFIRMATIVE FAIR HOUSING MARKETING REGULATIONS

WASHINGTON, June 3 -- Department Of Housing And Urban Development has issued a proposed rule called: Rescission of Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Regulations.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 3 by Scott Turner, Secretary.

Summary: This proposed rule would rescind the Department's Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing regulations, which require a participant in an FHA insurance or Multifamily Housing rental assistance program to complete and submit a form supplied by HUD that describes its affirmative fair housing marketing plan.
