The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 16 by Jennifer Hartzell, Alternate Federal Register Liaison Officer, U.S. Department of Energy.
Summary: The Department of Energy ("DOE" or "the Department") is proposing to rescind its regulations establishing a small electric motor nationally recognized certification and testing laboratory accreditation program. The Department seeks comments on any reason to rescind or not rescind these regulations.
