WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Department Of Energy has issued a proposed rule called: Energy Conservation Program: Rescinding the Amended Water Conservation Standards for Commercial Clothes Washers.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 16 by Jennifer Hartzell, Alternate Federal Register Liaison Officer, U.S. Department of Energy.
Summary: DOE is proposing to repeal the amended water conservation standards for commercial clothes washers. This will return the standards for commercial clothes washers to the statutory baseline.
