The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 16 by Treena V. Garrett, Federal Register Liaison Officer, U.S. Department of Energy.
Summary: DOE is proposing to withdraw its prior determination that portable air conditioners ("portable ACs") qualify as covered products under Part A of Title III of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended ("EPCA").
