WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Department Of Energy has issued a proposed rule called: Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Microwave Ovens.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 16 by Jennifer Hartzell, Alternate Federal Register Liaison Officer, U.S. Department of Energy.
Summary: DOE is proposing to rescind the energy conservation standards for microwave ovens. The rescission will eliminate the efficiency requirements for microwave ovens.
