WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Department Of Education has issued a notice called: Request for Information; Feedback on Redesigning the Institute of Education Sciences (IES).

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 25 by Matthew Soldner, Acting IES Director, U.S. Department of Education.

Summary: The Education Sciences Reform Act of 2002 established the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) as the research, evaluation, and statistics arm of the U.S. Department of Education. IES is responsible for generating, disseminating, and promoting the use of rigorous evidence to improve education outcomes nationwide.
