DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ISSUES NOTICE: FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA(R)) INFORMATION TO BE VERIFIED FOR THE 2026-2027 AWARD YEAR

WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 -- Department Of Education has issued a notice called: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA(R)) Information To Be Verified for the 2026-2027 Award Year.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Nov. 26 by David Barker, Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education.

Summary: For each award year, the Secretary publishes in the Federal Registera notice announcing the FAFSA information that an institution and an applicant may be required to verify, as well as the acceptable documentation for verifying FAFSA information.
