DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION ISSUES NOTICE: COMMON INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS TO DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION DISCRETIONARY GRANT PROGRAMS

WASHINGTON, Aug. 29 -- Department Of Education has issued a notice called: Common Instructions and Information for Applicants to Department of Education Discretionary Grant Programs.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 29 by Murray Bessette, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary and Acting Assistant Secretary, Office of Planning, Evaluation and Policy Development.

Summary: On December 23, 2024, the Department of Education (Department) published a set of common instructions for applicants seeking funds under a Department discretionary grant competition. In this notice, the Department is publishing a revised version of the common instructions that supersedes the version published on December 23, 2024.
