WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Department Of Agriculture has issued a notice called: Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA); Interpretation of "Federal Public Benefit".

The notice was published in the Federal Register on July 10 by Ralph A. Linden, Acting General Counsel, Office of the General Counsel.

Summary: This notice sets forth the interpretation that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) uses for the term "Federal public benefit" as used in Title IV of the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA), Public Law 104-193, 8 U.S.C. 1611.
