Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) today introduced H.R.7420 (https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/7420?s=1&r=1) - The Stop Gender Trafficking of Minors Act, legislation to establish clear federal protections against the interstate transport of minors for irreversible gender transition medical procedures.
The bill makes it a federal offense to knowingly transport a minor across state lines to obtain gender transition procedures intended to alter a child's sex characteristics in a manner inconsistent with their biological sex, creates civil remedies for affected children and families, and ensures federal taxpayer dollars are not used to subsidize o...
