WASHINGTON, July 8 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Special Local Regulation; San Pedro Bay, San Pedro, CA.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 8 by Stacey L. Crecy, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port, Los Angeles-Long Beach.

Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation for navigable waters within the vicinity of a large-scale regatta. The special local regulation is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by the large-scale regatta.
