WASHINGTON, June 16 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zone; Sunrise Wind Farm Project Area, Outer Continental Shelf, Lease OCS-A 0487, Offshore Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island, Atlantic Ocean.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 16 by M.E. Platt, Rear Admiral, U.S. Coast Guard, Commander, First Coast Guard District.

Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing 85 temporary safety zones around the construction of individual wind energy facilities during the development of the Sunrise Wind Farm project area.
