WASHINGTON, May 29 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Safety Zone; Edgewater Beach, Lake Erie, Cleveland, OH.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 29 by Sean M. Murray, Commander, U.S. Coast Guard, Alternate Captain of the Port Sector Eastern Great Lakes.
Summary: The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of Lake Erie offshore Edgewater Beach in Cleveland, Ohio. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters during the US Rowing Beach Sprints Mini Camp. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Eastern Great Lakes, or a designated representative.
