COAST GUARD ISSUES RULE: RENAMING OF U.S. COAST GUARD DISTRICTS

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 -- Coast Guard has issued a rule called: Renaming of U.S. Coast Guard Districts.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 2 by Michael T. Cunningham, Chief, Office of Regulations and Administrative Law.

Summary: The Coast Guard is updating its regulations to reflect the renaming of the Coast Guard districts from numerical to geographic designations.
