The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 4 by John P. Botti, Commander, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Marine Safety Unit Duluth.
Summary: The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a temporary safety zone for certain waters of Rainy Lake. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Ranier Beach Park, Ranier, MN, during a fireworks display on August 9, 2025.
