Brief Summary: Esophagojejunostomy anastomosis is used in total gastrectomy surgeries. Anastomotic leakage is a serious complication seen after these surgeries and is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Patients with older age and comorbidities have a higher risk of death following anastomotic leakage.
