Brief Summary: Introduction:
Pre-hepatic portal hypertension of malignant origin can lead to severe complications such as refractory ascites or gastrointestinal bleeding, significantly impairing patients' quality of life. Available therapeutic options are mainly symptomatic and do not address the venous obstruction.
