Brief Summary: Williams syndrome (WS) is a neurodevelopmental disease characterized by mild to moderate intellectual disability and an extremely heterogeneous cognitive profile. Research has outlined two main features of WS: an atypical social behavior associated with surprising language abilities, and a hyperacusis.
