Brief Summary: Studies have shown that endocrine disruptors (EDs) and toxic and essential chemical elements affect women's reproductive health and may play a role in the development of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). There is little research examining the association of EDs and toxic and essential chemical elements with PCOS, and for some chemical compounds there is none.
