Brief Summary: Transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) is a non-invasive, novel neuromodulation technique. Previous studies have demonstrated its safety and efficacy in chronic pain, mental disorders, and other diseases, but evidence regarding its use in acute postoperative pain remains limited.
