Brief Summary: Perioperative management in cardiac surgery, particularly the use of anesthesia, cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), and surgical techniques, remains highly variable across institutions. Current international guidelines lack clear recommendations due to insufficient high-quality comparative data.
