CENTERS FOR MEDICARE & MEDICAID SERVICES ISSUES NOTICE: MEDICARE AND MEDICAID PROGRAMS: APPLICATION FROM DNV HEALTHCARE, INC. FOR INITIAL CMS-APPROVAL OF ITS AMBULATORY SURGICAL CENTER (ASC) ACCREDITATION PROGRAM

WASHINGTON, April 28 -- Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has issued a notice called: Medicare and Medicaid Programs: Application From DNV Healthcare, Inc. for Initial CMS-Approval of Its Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Accreditation Program.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on April 28 by Vanessa Garcia, Federal Register Liaison, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Summary: This notice acknowledges the receipt of an application from DNV Healthcare Inc. for initial recognition as a national accrediting organization for Ambulatory Surgical Centers that wish to participate in the Medicare or Medicaid programs.
